Job Description:Reproductive Imaging Ultrasound Tech PRN
Job Summary:Provides health care services by applying sonic energy to assist in diagnosis.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Perform diagnostic ultrasound, which includes extensive OB ultrasounds, Biophysical profile, Amniotic Fluid index, Transvaginal ultrasounds, and Echocardiogram. Use interpretive skills to identify and record test results and report preliminary findings to Perinatologist. Assist Perinatologists with invasive procedures such as amniocentesis.Maintain ultrasound studies on PAC System, ViewPoint, and EPIC.Maintain ultrasound equipment by regular cleaning, including thorough disinfecting of transducers.Be proficient with ultrasound software.Perform QA on ultrasound equipment.Report problems with equipment to appropriate vendors.Download outreach studies to ViewPoint.Rotate through outreach clinics.Prepare room, sterile instruments, and maintain ultrasound supplies.Actively participate in department meetings and team activities.Attend all required safety training programs and describe responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, specific job-related hazards, and national patient safety goals.Ensure positive customer relations interactions.Requirements:Currently registered through ARDMS required. Newly graduated candidates will receive 90 days to obtain.
