The Mgr, Systems Engineering will possess targeted technology skills in z/OS software lifecycle methodologies across multiple vendor solutions, be adaptable to changing priorities, and provide data-driven business solutions. The ideal candidate will:Maintain and manage multi-vendor z/OS software productsLeverage various z/OS products/utilitiesPerform system monitoring/tuning for performance and capacityDevelop and deploy best practice solutions in alignment with business requirementsProvide support for complex technical and operational issues, driving problem resolution through root cause determinationProduce control evidence for various audit inquiriesInteract with vendors to plan and implement z/OS system upgradesWork effectively within Change and Problem Management structuresEngage in the development and execution of continuity and recovery plansParticipate in the on-call rotationRequired Qualifications
5+ years experience in Large Scale Mainframe computing environments.5+ years experience with z/OS software lifecycle management.Preferred Qualifications
5+ years experience with IBM Systems Automation and Netview deployment and customization.5+ years experience with Mainframe Security product deployment and customization.Education
Associates degree or equivalent work experience.Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is: $97,335.00 - $201,900.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.In addition to your compensation, enjoy the rewards of an organization that puts our heart into caring for our colleagues and our communities.
