Senior Property Accountant

Responsibilities
Manage the full accounting process for assigned properties
Financial statement preparation, AP, AR, and lease accounting duties
Post journal entries and accruals
Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process
Assist with quarterly and yearly reporting
Ad-hoc duties as the department may require
Qualifications
3+ years of applicable accounting experience required
Mix of public accounting and real estate industry accounting experience highly desired
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
Skills
Intermediate skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.)
Experience in Yardi, Sage 300, or other comparable software required
Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently
