Position Overview:The Nursing Assistant provides basic nursing care to a patient population under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Job Description :EDUCATIONEquivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
HS Diploma: High School Diploma or General Education (GED) or equivalent education/experience
Hospital Assistant or equivalent training (nursing student)
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURECNA-Certified Nurse Assistant
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
DEPARTMENT REQUIRED CERTIFICATION & LICENSURECNA-Certified Nurse Assistant
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant an acute care hospital required or nursing student.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGERequires communication, organization and relationship skills.
FLOAT POOL REQUIREMENTSCertified Nurse Assistants must float between Van Ness & Davies campuses within all departments/units at each campus.Job Shift:Evenings
Schedule:Full Time
Shift Hours:8
Days of the Week:Variable
Weekend Requirements:Every other Weekend
