The Nursing Assistant provides basic nursing care to a patient population under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.Job Description:EDUCATIONEquivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.HS Diploma: High School Diploma or General Education (GED) or equivalent education/experienceHospital Assistant or equivalent training (nursing student)CERTIFICATION & LICENSURECNA-Certified Nurse AssistantBLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare ProviderDEPARTMENT REQUIRED CERTIFICATION & LICENSURECNA-Certified Nurse AssistantPREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant in an acute care hospital required or nursing student.SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGERequires communication, organization, and relationship skills.FLOAT POOL REQUIREMENTSCertified Nurse Assistants must float between Van Ness & Davies campuses within all departments/units at each campus.Job Shift:
