Senior Cloud Engineer - GA

Responsibilities:Manage data and processes in third party and internally developed cost management tools.Investigate and implement cost-saving measures, including resource optimization and efficient usage practices.Create and present educational documentation and training materials.Conduct working sessions with finance, operations, and engineering teams to produce budgets and forecasts.Provide recommendations on implementing FinOps practices and methodologies.Collaborate with engineering teams to drive optimization efforts, with an Architecture perspective.Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports for stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Produce presentations on initiatives, statuses, and other topics as needed.Qualifications:2+ years of proven experience as a FinOps engineer, or as a software engineer with significant cost optimizations projects.4+ years of experience working with AWS cloud technologies.Excellent collaboration skills with technical and non-technical partners.Keen attention to detail and an aptitude for analyzing large volumes of data.Familiarity with AWS tools such as Cost Explorer, Cost Optimization Hub & Compute Optimizer.Experience creating visual reports using Power BI or a similar analytics tool.Data analysis coding/scripting experience with Python, SQL and API Integrations.Embraces diverse people, thinking and styles.Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority.What will give you a competitive edge (qualifications):Experience building QuickSight dashboards.Proven proficiency developing data-driven insights to support decision making.Familiarity with third-party cloud cost optimization tools.Cloud FinOps Automation experience.Equal opportunity employer including veterans.
