DescriptionThe multi site Controller oversees all accounting operations for Alloy Engineering (Berea, OH) and Mach3 (Cuyahoga Falls, OH). This includes managing accounting principles, practices, and procedures, maintaining fiscal records, and preparing financial reports that summarize and forecast business activity and financial positions, including income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations. The multi site Controller ensures effective cost control, reporting, and planning processes within the manufacturing environments at both locations.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSPlant-Level Financial Oversight:

Manage and enhance the accounting operations for both Alloy Engineering and Mach3, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and manufacturing processes.Oversee plant-specific financial reporting, including variance analysis, inventory management, and production cost reporting.Collaborate with management to provide financial insights that drive operational improvements and support decision-making.

Cost Accounting:

Provide key analysis and insights to guide decision-making, to CFO and management to improve efficiency and profitability.Implement and monitor cost control procedures and ensures all legal entity accounting and reporting is done promptly and accurately and in accordance with local GAAP.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Coordinate the preparation of each plants monthly and yearly reporting, prepare budget and forecast, aligning them with overall corporate objectives.Monitor plant financial performance against budgets, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.Ensures all reporting to banks and tax authorities is done timely and accurately.

Inventory and Asset Management:

Oversee the accurate tracking and reporting of inventory, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.Manage the determination of depreciation rates for plant assets, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with corporate policies.

Audit and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all financial reporting and accounting standards for each location.Manage audits, interim and YE audits, for group and statutory purposes ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

Collaboration and Communication:

Maintain strong communication with management and Corporate CFO, providing financial guidance and support.Maintain contact with tax authorities, auditors, bank, tax advisor, salary administrator and financial system consultants.

RequirementsBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.Minimum 10 years of accounting leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a plant or manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of financial operations, cost accounting, and manufacturing processes.Experience in managing plant-level financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and inventory management.ESOP experience preferred.Communication:
