Northrop Grumman Enterprise Services is seeking an Information Technology Manager 2 within the Digital Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality Program Management Organization; this position will be located in Linthicum, MD.
This position will require an active Special Access Program clearance to start.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of approximately 4-6 ESPM's and PC Techs, providing program support and service delivery for the Engineering, Design, Validation, and Product Data Management domains. The statement of work (SOW) focuses on applications and systems for internal use, including the design, architecture, deployment, and support of Commercial Off The shelf (COTS) Engineering systems and some internally developed applications.
Additional responsibilities will include:
Establishing and executing program/project goals
Forecasting and managing SOW, labor budget, and actuals against those established objectives
Oversight of various activities including the planning and execution of the integration of hardware and software for complex systems utilized on critical sector and corporate programs.
The IT Manager documents and delivers performance evaluations and accomplishes merit increase planning. The successful candidate will provide their staff with professional development recommendations, mentoring, and discipline as necessary.
This position requires collaboration and team-building across multiple domains and a demonstrated ability to independently prioritize, plan, and execute work tasks in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality results.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of progressive IT experience, or Master's degree with 5 years of progressive IT experience.
2+ years of proven technical leadership experience in a team environment.
Proven experience managing multiple simultaneous projects in various stages of the development lifecycle.
Proven experience in customer relationship management.
Experience building and supporting Systems Engineering and Software Development applications and users within a large enterprise.
Experience with desktop, client/server, and web architecture end-user support and incident resolution.
Experience with using Agile tools and methodologies, such as Jira, Confluence, and GIT.
Experience with Cloud technologies, such as Azure and AWS.
US Citizenship is required for this position as well as an active Secret Clearance with SAP eligibility to start.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Engineering application support, development, administration, and maintenance.
Familiarity with the functions, processes, and capabilities of the Engineering tools used at Northrop Grumman as they apply to Systems Engineering and Software development environments.
Experience in Project or Program Management with the ability to support multiple projects concurrently based on priority and criticality.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
Salary Range:
$131,800 - $197,600
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
