Job DescriptionYour CareerOur Cloud Management Platform group is in search of a passionate Full Stack Software engineer responsible to develop and design our scalable microservices used to activate all Palo Alto Networks cloud products.We are seeking experienced senior level Software Engineers to develop and deliver next-generation technologies within our Shared Services team. We want passionate engineers who love to code, build great products and bring new ideas in all facets of software development. Collaboration and teamwork are at the foundation of our culture and we need engineers who can communicate and work well with others towards achieving a common goal.Your ImpactCollaborate with development teams and product managers to ideate and design software solutionsArchitect both client-side and server-side systemsDevelop and manage scalable NoSQL databases and applicationsCreate effective REST APIs with support for versioningWrite test-driven code to ensure high-quality softwareProduce comprehensive functional and design specificationsProvide suggestions and ideas for framework improvementsDevelop data-driven software with a focus on a generic design approachInnovate and introduce new ideas to the teamProactively solve problems and deliver high-quality solutionsMentor and support the professional growth of junior team members

QualificationsYour ExperienceMS/BS in Computer Science or equivalent or equivalent military experienceExpertise in NodeJS with 4+ years of experienceProficiency in ReactJS with 4+ years of experienceStrong experience in TypeScriptMinimum of 5 years of experience in software development with JavaScript, HTML, and CSSFamiliarity with common software stacks and data structures and algorithmsExperience in writing secure code is advantageousBasic understanding of data security and protection principlesExperience with public cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS is a plusProficiency in Docker and Kubernetes ecosystemsExpertise in NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDBStrong knowledge of NodeJS frameworks such as Hapi and ExpressJSExperience with CI/CD processesKnowledge of various front-end technologies, libraries, and tools including NextJS, Vue, Bootstrap, etc.
