Our Claims team is an industry leader, drawing daily on its unparalleled levels of expertise to offer our clients the highest levels of stewardship.About the roleThis position handles bodily injury and property damage claims in all 50 states. Your clients will be the leaders in their industry and some of the largest corporations in the world. As a PSU adjuster, you will have direct oversight of complex and severe general liability, product liability, employers’ liability, and auto liability claims.Determining scope and extent of available primary and excess coverage;Development and execution of investigation strategies;Clear and concise communication with internal and external stakeholders;Evaluating claim exposures and setting appropriate reserves;Developing and implementing resolution strategies;Independent and proactive negotiation of multi-million dollar claims;Effectively managing litigation costs;+/- 25% travel.What we’re looking for:5+ years of Commercial/Industry claims experience preferred;Excellent communication ability (verbal/written) and strong negotiation skills;Advanced experience in litigation claims management;Experience attending and controlling claims at mediations, settlement conferences, etc.;JD helpful but not required;Property and Casualty adjusting licenses required.For positions based in Jersey City, NJ, the base salary range is $90,000-$120,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus.
