We're looking for a

Technical Compliance Liaison

to join our ever-evolving Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) to help us unleash the potential of every business. Are you ready to make your mark? Then you sound like a Worldpayer.

About the teamThe Compliance Liaison within the Office of the CTO will be responsible for ensuring that all technology-related activities and processes comply with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This role will work closely with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), internal technology teams, and compliance/audit departments to manage compliance requirements, develop and maintain policies and procedures, and oversee incident management and response processes.

What you'll own

Compliance Monitoring and Standards Management:Continuously monitor compliance requirements and standards. Stay updated on relevant regulatory changes and industry best practices.

Collaboration and Needs Translation:Work closely with internal technology teams to understand compliance needs and translate them into actionable requirements. Collaborate with compliance and audit teams to ensure alignment and support for compliance initiatives.

Policy and Procedure Management:Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant standards. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date, easily accessible, and effectively communicated to relevant stakeholders.

Incident Management and Response:Establish and manage incident management and response processes to address compliance breaches. Coordinate with relevant teams to investigate incidents, implement corrective actions, and report findings.

Training and Awareness:Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on compliance requirements and best practices. Promote a culture of compliance and ethical behavior across the organization.

Audit Support:Prepare for and support internal and external audits related to compliance. Ensure timely and accurate responses to audit findings and recommendations.

Reporting and Documentation:Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and incidents. Prepare regular reports on compliance status, issues, and actions for senior management.

Where you'll own itWhile we're a large team of Worldpayers based in North America, we have collaborative spaces and regular opportunities to celebrate with each other in person.

What you bringBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISM, CISA, CISSP) are preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably within a technology-focused organization. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO/IEC 27001). Experience in policy development, documentation management, and incident response.
