Responsible for overall operations of main computer systems equipment, client's computers, communication system and networks to maximize availability.Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate would be able to:Regular Responsibilities:
Monitor all network equipment and respond immediately after failures.Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN).Monitor network performance and integrity.Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure.Install, configure, and support networking and security equipment from a wide range of industry-leading vendors including Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and HP.Mentor team members on technical issues.Create, oversee, and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery).Interface with multiple IT departments as the expert networking resource to assess, recommend, project plan, and implement network solutions in support of business initiatives.Maintain complete technical documentation.Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability.Provide first-line maintenance of all client complaints, including network, application, or hardware troubleshooting if required.Assign the user requests to technicians or coordinate with AKU IT Team for assistance.Fabrication of cables for various main computer-related equipment and client computers.Provide MS Office (365) and other applications training to users to work efficiently.Attend daily complaints on time from the helpdesk software.Any other task assigned by the supervisor/manager.Periodic Responsibilities:
Implementation and management of Microsoft server environment, including Active Directory, Print Server, Member Server, Software Update Server, and various applications Servers.Respond to trouble calls on main system during nights and emergency situations.Ensure preventive maintenance of servers, racks, switches, and routers is carried out on schedule.Responsible for updating and monitoring the ITC quality indicators in quality manual files.Responsible for planning and performing the windows patching activity on all servers once in a quarter.Responsible for restoring the backup of servers once in a month to test the backups.Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in progress.IT Certification (MS Azure and CCNA).2 or 3 years of work experience.Knowledge and Competencies
Solid background in network administration and architecture.Able to handle all IT and communication-related problems.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under difficult working conditions.Good computer skills, especially MS Office.Submission Guideline:
