Capital Health Medical Group is made up of more than 250 physicians and other providers who offer primary and specialty care, as well as hospital-based services, to patients throughout the region.Position Overview:Functions as a member of the technical services team responsible for directly supporting enterprise IT Security systems and projects. Contributes to the development and evolution of the organization's security architecture under the guidance of the IT Security Engineering Manager. Assists in defining and maintaining security policies, standards, and guidelines.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEducation:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Master's degree preferred.Experience:
Three years of security engineering experience, with a focus on architecture and technology implementation.Other Credentials:Knowledge and Skills:
Relevant security certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent strongly preferred. Knowledge of desktop support, networking, and security technologies. Experience with desktops, servers, storage, virtualization, networking, and security technologies. Working knowledge of IAM, PAM, and other security solutions.Special Training:
Network+, Security+, CySA+, CEH, or other advanced IT security certifications.Mental, Behavioral and Emotional Abilities:
Strong teamwork abilities. Must be able to handle multiple tasks at one time. Can effectively interact with staff and system vendors on a regular basis. Experience with IT projects from inception to completion, working independently or with a larger team.Usual Work Day:

NoIf set to YES, then this position has the authority (delegated) to hire, terminate, discipline, promote, or effectively recommend such to manager.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSContributes to the development and evolution of the organization's security architecture under the guidance of the IT Security Engineering Manager.Assists in defining and maintaining security policies, standards, and guidelines.Evaluates and implements security technologies, including endpoint detection, firewalls, and other security tools.Collaborates with vendors and internal teams to deploy and integrate security solutions.Conducts security assessments, including vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.Provides recommendations to remediate identified security vulnerabilities.Assists in developing and refining incident response plans and procedures.Participates in tabletop exercises and simulations to enhance incident response capabilities.Contributes to the development and delivery of security awareness training for employees.Provides guidance on security best practices and awareness.Collaborates closely with the Security Operations team to understand operational challenges and contribute to solutions.Participates in post-incident reviews and contributes to lessons learned.Maintains comprehensive documentation related to security architecture, assessments, and technology implementations.Ensures documentation is aligned with organizational standards.Performs other duties as assigned.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTFrequent physical demands include:Occasional physical demands include: Standing, Walking, Carrying objects, Pushing/Pulling, Bending, Reaching forward, Reaching overhead, Squatting/kneeling/crawling, Wrist position deviation, Pinching/fine motor activities.Continuous physical demands include: Sitting, Keyboard use/repetitive motion.Lifting Floor to Waist 75 lbs. Lifting Waist Level and Above 75 lbs.Sensory Requirements include: Accurate Near Vision, Color Discrimination, Moderate Depth Perception, Moderate Hearing.Anticipated Occupational Exposure Risks Include the following: Dust/Particulate Matter.Offers are contingent upon successful completion of our onboarding process and pre-employment physical.
