Description3 days Hybrid role from any of our Engineering locations in RI, NJ, NC, TX or AZ.Role is not relocation eligible.The Cloud and Container Security Manager is a hands-on technical manager role responsible for the day-to-day team operations and part of the broader Attack Surface Management group.In this role, you will help define, drive, and deliver the vision and strategy for your team to ensure that it aligns with the overall Vulnerability Management and Cloud Compliance Program. You will demonstrate extraordinary organizational and cross-functional communication skills to drive DevSecOps in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) at the bank.It is imperative that you understand risk analysis and have excellent business acumen. Your leadership skills will be used to motivate, mentor, train and help develop staff to maintain a highly effective and passionate team.Responsibilities (but not limited to):Develop technical roadmaps and milestones for the team to continuously improve service delivery for cloud and container vulnerability management.Communicate security issues to a wide variety of internal and external customers including technical teams, executives, risk groups, vendors, and regulators.Maintain a deep understanding of current threats, vulnerabilities, attacks, countermeasures and how to respond effectively to them while providing training to the rest of the team on these items.Integrate cloud and container security requirements into DevOps & CI/CD pipelines, working collaboratively with Agile teams.Develop data-driven, value-oriented operational and security metrics to drive decision making for technology risk.Continuously mature the Cloud and Container Security Program by identifying appropriate technologies, policies, communication channels, organizational structures, and relationships with third parties.Ability to be adaptable and flexible while working in a dynamic environment.Foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and business partners both regionally and globally.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Serve as the escalation point for all matters of the team.Be innovative, think strategically, and challenge the status quo.Required Experience and Skills:5 years of progressive technical security industry experience, preferably in driving and implementing secure development practices in DevSecOps through integration into an organization’s development processes and pipelines.Experience as a technical lead or manager of a team responsible for developing and integrating technical solutions for Cloud and Container security.Possess strong technical security skills and comprehension of security and risk.3 years of experience managing security for enterprise production container workloads in orchestrated environments such as Openshift in public Cloud Service Provider tenancies.Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10, CVE/CWE, CVSS, and EPSS.Deep understanding of web application design, container/cloud development, vulnerabilities, runtime defenses, and microservices.Experience with developing and scripting in languages (Python, Golang, etc.).Hands-on experience developing with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) providers such as Terraform.2 years of experience with cloud and container security platforms such as Wiz Security.Managing and developing agile deployment methodologies/processes for Cloud and Containers.Preferred Education and Certifications:One or more relevant security certifications (GCSA, GCPN, CKA/CKS, etc.).Public Cloud Service Provider certifications or equivalent experience, preferably for AWS and Azure at a minimum.Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience.Hours & Work ScheduleHours per Week: 40Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PMPay TransparencyThe salary range for this position is $165,000 - $200,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus.
