This position is responsible and accountable for the delivery of nursing services, for all nursing staff, and clinical nursing operations. The DON also has clinical responsibility for risk management, infection control, utilization management, and other clinically relevant regulatory and compliance processes.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Assumes the overall direction and leadership of the nursing team at A&C.Develops and/or solidifies relationships with local community partners as the leader of A&C’s nursing team to assure successful communication and collaboration.Works with members of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) as needed to assist with high-level nursing decisions that are significant for the efficiency and effectiveness of A&C clinical operations.Collaborates with the CMO and other agency leadership in the development of nursing policy and procedures.Works with the Assistant Director of Nursing to ensure consistent communication and implementation of nursing policies and procedures across all services nursing touches. Ensures staff adhere to current standards of nursing practice and organizational philosophy.The Location and hours:
A&C is based in Central Indiana. For this position, we service the following counties: Marion, Johnson Counties. This role is M-F 8-5 with flexible scheduling.RequirementsGraduate of an accredited school of Nursing, BSN required.
