ProSidian Seeks a Program Chemist | Environmental Management [USACE011016] - DPLH Est.: 2080 Hrs. ST | 0 Hrs. OT on a Exempt Contract Contingent Basis Key Personnel | Sr. Engineer / Scientist Labor Category - STD Level Exempt Professional aligned under services related to NAICS: 541620 located CONUS - Ten (10) States: Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming. This position supports a federal agency within the Dept of Defense, focusing on critical engineering services to strengthen national security, support economic growth, and mitigate disaster risks.
JOB OVERVIEW
Provide services and support as a Program Chemist in the Environmental Management Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as the Department of Defense (DoD - USACE).
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Serve as a member of The Engagement Team as "Key Management Personnel" and work to develop and oversee chemical testing protocols; ensure quality control in lab procedures; interpret chemical data.
Ensure that all chemistry-related goals of the program are attained.
Have general knowledge of remedial process chemistry, fate, and transport of organics and inorganics.
Be experienced in the sampling and analysis of toxic/hazardous chemicals in environmental matrices.
Demonstrate experience with emerging contaminants.
Qualifications:
Minimum 4-year college degree in chemistry or related field.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience working on Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) related projects.
Extensive knowledge of chemical analysis techniques; experience in environmental chemistry.
Advanced expertise in chemical data quality management of environmental analytical data.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe).
Professional Licensure: Certified Chemist (CChem) or equivalent preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
U.S. Citizenship Required.
Background Check And Drug testing may be required.
Security Clearance may be required for certain positions.
