NaphCare has a partnership with NetCE that provides CEU/CME for our staff. NetCE uses a rigorous peer review process to ensure that all activities and content are up-to-date. This service streamlines continuing education for all NaphCare Employees to meet state-specific requirements for maintaining licensing.

ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for Mental Health Director:
Coordinate, lead and participate in educational and training activities related to mental health care for patients
Evaluate patients in a variety of settings
Perform and document mental health evaluations
Facilitate patient treatment to include admission and discharge from the mental health unit, housing change requests, seclusion, suicide precautions, close observation, and observation level changes
Coach and collaborate with site mental health clinical staff
Ensure all mental health clinicians are educated
Work cooperatively with all psychiatric providers
Assist with recruiting efforts for mental health staff
QualificationsQualifications for Mental Health Director:
Masters prepared candidate with a current, unrestricted license in CO
Minimum of 3 years' clinical experience in a mental health care setting
Minimum of 2 years' experience in management and correctional healthcare preferred
Knowledge and experience in the identification and treatment of mental health and co-occurring substance abuse disorders, discharge planning, principles of social work, basic principles of individual and group behavior, suicide risk assessment, crisis de-escalation techniques
Working knowledge of psychotropic medications
Valid CPR card
