Our Plano, TX based client is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who will be heavily involved in the Company’s financial forecast, annual budgeting process, operating plan variance analysis and special projects. They will provide strategic support to senior management including helping with board presentations, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities and other projects as requested by senior management.
Duties And Responsibilities
Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicatorsMonitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variancesDevelop and maintain budgeting, financial forecasting, operating plan and modeling toolsQuarterly and monthly financial reportsAd-hoc reporting and analysisWork with a business intelligence tool to create dashboard reportsDevelop financial models to support strategic initiativesAnalyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial information to management for decision making purposesSupporting senior management team with in-depth analysisAssist in the preparation of presentations to Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team.Perform other duties as assigned.Education And Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar field.Three or more years of FP&A experience.Project based accounting and manufacturing accounting experience is a plusCertified Public Accountant or MBA preferred
