This role would suit a qualified registered nurse who is passionate about care and has previous or current experience of working as a director of nursing within a skilled nursing facility. You will be required to be qualified as a registered nurse for the position and to focus on providing high-quality care in line with North Carolina state and Medicare regulations, supporting/developing the well-established team you are leading, under the guidance of the LNHA, while supporting the administrator with their day-to-day responsibilities.The CandidateThe successful candidate must have a registered nursing license, active in the state of North Carolina, and experience managing a nursing team within a senior care community as a director of nursing. A good understanding of North Carolina state regulations within senior care is essential. The candidate will ideally have several years of leadership experience as a DON or ADON and provide evidence that they have the capability to manage the clinical operations of a skilled nursing facility.
