www.exlservice.com .Subrogation Subject Matter Expert (SME)Job Description:The SME will be a go-to resource for complicated subrogation matters. Partner with internal and external customers to obtain the largest recovery possible. Use influence and expertise to obtain support for settlement positions. Work with all subrogation leaders and offer self as a resource to support the subrogation claims and ultimately settlements. Provide coaching and support to inexperienced subrogation claims handlers. Take a comprehensive view as to how we can be more efficient and effective as an organization as it pertains to the subrogation process. Demonstrate flexibility in achieving assigned and impromptu work expectations. Engage leadership for counsel, as needed. Specific qualities to ensure success within the organization are as follows:Responsibilities:Take the lead on driving complicated subrogation matters to conclusion.Analyze liability issues with claims to determine if there is evidence to pursue recovery from the third party.Review claim files to identify subrogation potential.Take appropriate steps for the development, pursuit, and recovery of claims.Evaluate facts and evidence, liability, amount of damage, and other factors prior to negotiations with other insurance companies in order to maximize the subrogation recovery/settlements.Refer case and all documents to outside collection agencies and attorneys when necessary.Provide coaching to the inexperienced agents on the claim process, subrogation, etc.Ensure that any dated requests are processed.Provide an exceptional customer experience for internal and external customers.Maintain a positive relationship with the leaders, agents, and clients.Think critically about process improvements.Ability to handle a pressure-based environment while maintaining a professional demeanor.Qualifications:2+ years’ experience in the insurance industry.Base Salary Range Disclaimer:
