SkyGrid also acts as a key operational nexus for advanced air mobility, integrating and managing data, infrastructure, access, and traffic to support seamless and efficient air traffic services.The SkyGrid team is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer who will participate in all aspects for the certification of a next generation complex airspace management system for autonomous and unmanned aircraft systems. You will ensure that the new system, (software and hardware), is developed to meet various cybersecurity processes. You will help create various cyber certification documents, work with IT to implement various controls and interface with the Aviation Cybersecurity Manager for audits and status updates. You will be the principal security engineer within the company, ensuring that all deliverables are completed to meet required certification standards. You will work closely with the Certification Program Manager so that timely and cost-effective certification solutions are developed throughout the lifecycle.Performance Objectives:

Generate the System Security Plan (SSP)Own and track cybersecurity certification deliverablesEnsure all required cybersecurity requirements are metEnsure cybersecurity risks are identified and elevated to be resolved in a timely mannerResponsibilities:

Develop and coordinate the System Security Plan (SSP)Detail and execute all tasks/deliverables and processes required for FAA cybersecurity certificationEnsure all cybersecurity deliverables are completed per roadmap timelineValidate/verify cybersecurity system-level certification requirementsSupport Certification Program Manager with tracking and reporting progress on cybersecurity deliverablesIdentify risks and communicate to relevant parties for timely resolutionCollaborate with software, safety and quality departments to establish design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product development, testing, and the integration of cybersecurity requirementsQualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related fieldMinimum of 7 years of professional experience in cybersecurity engineeringStrong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practicesFamiliarity with Cyber frameworks such as NIST 800-53 and ISO 27001Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM)Proficiency in network protocols, encryption algorithms, and secure coding practicesExperience with security incident response and forensic analysisExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsPreferred Experience:
