Director Infection Control

A 150+ bed hospital in Northwest Washington is looking for a Director Infection Control to join their Nurse Leaders in the Infection Control Department! This facility strongly holds themselves to quality patient care for each individual patient in a comfortable, modern, and wonderful setting.The Director of Infection Control is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring infection prevention and control policies and procedures within the healthcare facility. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, managing infection control programs, and providing education and training to staff to minimize the risk of infection.The Director Infection Control will have a wide range of responsibilities within the hospital which may include:Design and manage surveillance programs to monitor and report infection rates and trends.Oversee and ensure compliance with infection control standards and regulations (e.g., CDC, OSHA, Joint Commission).Investigate infection outbreaks and manage response efforts, including containment strategies and reporting.Manage infection control budget and resources effectively.This position also includes a generous salary compensation and good benefits.
