Senior Data Analyst
in support of HQ USAF Sponsored and Supported Wargaming. Primary location is Joint Base Andrews, MD with occasional visits to Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling and The Pentagon.Position is subject to contract awardThe Contractor will conduct activities to plan, execute, manage, and analyze throughout all phases of HQ USAF wargames (concept development, objective and analysis/assessment planning, game design, event planning, management, execution, and post-game analysis).Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversees and manages development of software and database applications to support wargame design, execution, and analysis.Provides systems engineering expertise to meet wargame-related IT requirements.Advises and supervises IT engineers, software developers, and associates and coordinates with Data Analysts.Advises and recommends solutions to AF Wargaming leadership.Manages design, development, and implementation of IT solutions.Advises and manages research & development to continuously improve wargame infrastructure (software, hardware).Manages LAN development, deployment, and maintenance for wargame execution.Oversees and directs ISSM and ISSO functions.Minimum Qualifications:Shall possess a graduate degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience in modeling, simulations, or operations research analysis.The candidate(s) shall have excellent oral and written communication skills.Experience developing wargame tools and in providing wargame or operational analysis required.TS/SCI eligible security clearance is mandatory.401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Holidays, Medical and Dental Plans, Life and Disability insurance, Education Assistance (and more).JANUS Research Group, Inc. provides reasonable accommodation so that qualified applicants with a disability may participate in the selection process.
