We are looking for a talented Software Development Engineer to join our S3 Fleet Management team to support AWS S3 Fleet Automation services and help build the new generation of Fleet Agnostic and Cloud Based Automation Services. You will contribute towards our rapidly increasing scale as we expand our services to internal AWS customers. To meet and exceed our customers' expectations, we are constantly working on software innovation, process automation, and improving cloud storage infrastructure. Key Job Responsibilities

Design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance of innovative software solutions to transform service performance, durability, cost, and security.Use Java/Java based frameworks and software engineering best practices to ensure the standard of quality of all team deliverables.Write high quality distributed system software.Work in an agile development environment, where you are always working on the most important stuff.Mentor junior software development engineers.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.1+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.Experience programming with at least one software programming language.A willingness to dive deep and get things done.Be passionate about software innovation.

Preferred Qualifications

MS in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired.Experience building and maintaining mission-critical software.Experience successfully mentoring junior software engineers.
