Accounting Managers
to join our dynamic team of fractional financial professionals. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to our diverse portfolio of clients. Your work will be meaningful and exciting, supporting businesses that are going through transformation, growth, process improvement, fundraising, preparing for an exit, and/or looking to acquire other companies.
Job Description:As a Fractional Accounting Manager with Ascent CFO Solutions, you will be an experienced Accountant, responsible for leading and planning accounting activities for our clients. You will ensure proper accounting methods, policies, and procedures, and may oversee a Senior Accountant.
Primary Responsibilities
for this role:Participate in general ledger setup, account control, journal entry processes, month-end close, and reportingProduce financial reporting packages including dashboard and KPI reportingOversee weekly, semi-monthly, etc. payroll processesSupport year-end audit engagementsReconcile balance sheet accountsBank reconciliations and cash management, intercompany accounts
The Ideal Candidate
has:5+ years of experience as a Senior AccountantExperience managing Accounting teamsBachelor’s Degree required, Master's in Finance or Accounting preferredHighly proficient in Quickbooks Online (QBO); experience with accounting software (NetSuite, etc) a plusTech-Savvy, comfortable learning new cloud toolsAdvanced Excel skills are requiredExperience using payroll, expense reimbursement and bill pay systems (Gusto, etc)Understanding of GAAP accountingWorking knowledge of preparing tax filings such as 1099s and sales tax formsPassion for collaboration and providing excellent client service
Compensation:
$55-65/hour based on experience
Location:
Boulder/Denver
based preferred, Remote role with some in-person meetings/events
