Job Summary:

At Trane Technologies, we see tremendous opportunity for digital solutions to play a leading role in maximizing our customer’s experience, achieving our industry-leading sustainability goals, and elevating the skill level, productivity, and safety of our workforce.

Responsibilities:

Work on telematics and analytics initiatives for Thermo King and Trane Brands.

Identify business value drivers and quantify key metrics.

Build quantitative data models for use in business analytics and machine learning programs.

Conduct research around best practices in the HVAC industry specifically around data and analytics.

Leverage knowledge of competitors (such as Nvent/Pentair) to identify points of competitive advantage.

Build data flows to leverage operational data and populate dashboards.

Work collaboratively with other team members (including other interns and full-time employees) towards deliverables.

Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and strong teamwork in completing tasks and projects on the prescribed timelines.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled and pursuing a BS in Computer Science.

Have working knowledge/some experience with data and analytics.

Experience:

Successful completion of previous internship or co-op within HVAC industry.

Project-related experience within degree.
