Airport Freeway (Hwy. 183) and Valley View LaneEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesWrite stored procedures, table alterations, functions, selects, inner and outer joins, indexes, and SSRS Reports in SQL Server 2019 and 2022Experience with C#, Python, Script Tasks, and Powershell development – including ETL/ELT processes and container instancesResponsible for the ongoing monitoring of Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines to ensure data processing workflows are executed correctly and on schedule, as well as designing, developing, and implementing new ADF pipelines to support evolving data integration and processing needsDevelop and maintain Azure Logic Apps to automate workflows and integrate various services and data sourcesUtilize Postman for developing, testing, and documenting APIs; create test scripts, manage environments, and automate API testing to ensure robust and reliable API performanceExpertise with RESTful APIsUnderstanding of JSON and XML – both with custom applications and SQL Server data managementAbility to interface data from on-premise environments to cloud-based applications/databases, including AzureWrite Power Automate flows, Azure integrations, leverage On-Prem Data Gateways, and Azure AD Enterprise Application ManagementPerformance tuning with stored procedures, functions, set-based code, and index creationExperience with indexing strategies is a must, including OLAP/OLTP indexing, Columnstore, partitioning, and compressionKnowledge of execution plans, statistics, and reading plan diagramsConvert business requirements to system designOwn the database schema, which designates responsibility for its design (both current and planned improvement)Interact with programmers as a

SQL ExpertHigh attention to detail is requiredOther duties may be assignedRequirementsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science required; Master’s degree preferredMinimum 5+ years of experience as an MS SQL programmer in a fast-paced, dynamic environment using a structured software development methodologyExperience designing and implementing large-scale database solutions that are reliable, scalable, and perform at high levelsWorking knowledge of security and privacy issues, SQL 2019, and SQL 2022WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Individuals must be team-quality players in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must work in an environment with 50% development and 50% production support.
