Founded in 1913, City of Hope has grown into one of the largest and most advanced cancer research and treatment organizations in the U.S. City of Hope's uniquely integrated model spans cancer care, research and development, academics and training, and a broad philanthropy program that powers its work.The successful candidate:The Director of Supportive & Integrative Oncology is a programmatic and people leader accountable for all operational aspects within the departments of Supportive & Integrative Oncology. This individual is responsible for the growth and development of those on the teams under their responsibility, as well as continuously evaluating and refining program and departmental processes to enhance safety, quality, and profitability.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Lead the operational activities of the Supportive & Integrative Oncology departments through effective communication and implementation of best practices.Collaborate with regional and enterprise leadership to develop and implement long-term strategic plans.Commit to operational and clinical excellence through continual improvement of processes.Ensure ongoing compliance with external regulatory agencies and certifying/quality agencies.Lead talent management processes and budget development for direct and programmatic reports.Minimum Education:Master's Degree in Healthcare or Business AdministrationMinimum Experience:Minimum of ten years of leadership experience, 7+ years in healthcare operationsPreferred Education:Undergraduate degree in a clinical area preferred.Skills/Abilities:Excellent analytical and problem-solving, written and verbal communication skillsSoftware:Microsoft Office, EPICCity of Hope is an equal opportunity employer.
