Child Care Assistant Director

First Methodist Church Washington Child Care is currently searching for an Assistant Director to join our staff. We are a faith-based child care located within the First Methodist Church in Washington, NC. FMCW Child Care has the privilege to teach and foster the relationship our children have with God. Each classroom’s lesson plans include crafts, songs, scripture, and chapel to help with this mission. We serve children ages 6 weeks until they begin Kindergarten.Under the direction and supervision of the Director, this person will be responsible for managing paperwork, creating reports for parents, collecting payment, and communication with parents/guardians. The Assistant Director will supervise other staff members and help to ensure the child care center's compliance with all regulations. This position requires communication skills, observation skills, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with children. The Assistant Director will be responsible for ensuring each classroom meets child to staff ratios and assist in classrooms as needed.Pay:
