HEICO is seeking a Sr. Financial Systems Analyst for full time direct hire position in Hollywood, FL.

ROLE:

Responsible for driving the implementation and management of the financial application system, specifically IBM Cognos TM1 (Planning Analytics).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Planning and Development:Take charge of development, including coding and testing of TM1 applications.Take direction from the Architect regarding enhancements, updates, and new development in the Planning Analytics system.Collaborate with the finance team to ensure the system meets business requirements.

System Management:Manage TM1 applications with other developers on an ongoing basis.Continuously improve finance processes using TM1.

Financial Reporting:Assist in the development and administration of accounting and financial reporting systems that comply with accepted principles.Ensure timely preparation, interpretation, and analysis of financial data, including statements, audits, sales, earnings, profits, cash balances, and financial results.

Budgeting and Forecasting:Prepare reports that summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position, focusing on income, expenses, and earnings.Assist in the preparation and direction of budgets.

Special Projects:Support the Group Controller with special projects as needed.

Additional Responsibilities:Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited college or university.

EXPERIENCE:At least seven years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum of 3 years of development experience with IBM Cognos TM1 (Planning Analytics) enterprise planning software.Significant functional knowledge of financial systems and processes.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESLanguage:Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Interpersonal Skills:Ability to interact and communicate professionally and assertively with team members at all levels.

Computer Skills:Intermediate proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Advanced proficiency with IBM Cognos TM1 (Planning Analytics).

Problem Solving:Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment.

Team Work:Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team; capable of collaborating with clients.

Technical Skills:In-depth understanding of TM1 development, including TurboIntegrator processes, Rules, and advanced modeling techniques.

PHYSICAL DEMANDSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENTThe noise level in the work environment is usually quiet, except when on the manufacturing floor, where it is medium to high.
