This role is a key player in the development and maintenance of the software systems that run the McKesson Medical Surgical distribution centers. This person will participate in the definition of opportunities to enhance the system and then participate in the design and testing of the proposed solutions. The role also will help maintain the currently deployed system by troubleshooting issues and providing customer support for our business partners.Key Responsibilities:Provide analysis supporting the MMS Warehouse Systems:
Serve as a technical advisor for initiatives related to the MMS RF Warehouse SystemsWork directly with business and IT teammates to define and test development initiativesDocument designs and test results related to development initiatives
Provide technical support:
Provide technical production support as needed for the warehouse systemsWork closely with internal applications support and other IT teams as needed to resolve system issues in a timely manner
Provide training and mentoring:
Utilize warehouse systems and business knowledge to serve as a mentor for IT and Operations team members who need assistance understanding processes
Self-development:
Continuously improve skill set by keeping up with current technical trends and solutions
Critical Skills:2+ years of experience working in business analytics2+ years of experience with SQL2+ years of experience in general IT fieldAdditional Knowledge & Skills:Broad knowledge of warehouse systems and how they relate to the businessStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to understand user requirements and communicate them in an appropriate manner to other team membersStrong time management skills and ability to drive projects ahead of timeAbility to manage many tasks at once and prioritize accordinglyAbility to troubleshoot RF Warehouse systemic or process issues, propose solutions, and manipulate data when neededEducation:4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experienceWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.Our Base Pay Range for this position:
