Company OverviewAt Hexagon US Federal, we provide cutting-edge technologies and a wide range of professional services to enable our customers to make smarter and faster operational decisions and improve mission effectiveness.Hexagon US Federal is an independent subsidiary of Hexagon Corporation exclusively focused on bringing the broad range of Hexagon technologies to the US Federal government and its partners.A day in the life of a Systems AdministratorThe Systems Administrator will perform system administration operations on all Windows server systems to maintain a functional and secure operating environment for each network in compliance with Government policies and regulations. Responsibilities include maintaining service levels of system availability and uptime, managing system resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing system outages to maintain applicable service levels, performing daily checks, and developing, generating, maintaining, and contributing to documentation (e.g., procedures, instructions) that pertain to and are applicable to managed systems. The Systems Administrator will also maintain compliant and secure systems for each network through availability and perform vulnerability management as required. Effective communication with all department levels is essential to ensure project success and user needs are identified and met. Participation in and provision of technical evaluations in various meetings, groups, and/or committees is expected. Additionally, the role includes performing system administration operations on all virtualization systems and terminal services to maintain a functional and secure operating environment.What we are expecting from you (i.e. the qualifications you must have):Must have a minimum of 4 years of Systems Administration experience.Preferred experience and administration in Microsoft Solutions, VMware, Citrix, and Oracle.MCSE, CompTIA Server+, VMWare Certified Professional, certifications or equivalent job experience.Required Level of Security Clearance: Secret ClearanceSecurity Clearance Statement:
