Surgical Tech

will provide assistance and support to surgeons by preparing and providing instruments and equipment during surgical procedures in the Operating Room. Surgical Techs work under the supervision of the surgeon. A

Surgical Tech

will facilitate a safe, effective, and orderly operating room to maximize patient safety.Qualifications

Education:

HS Diploma or GED plus short-term training in operating room setting or graduate of surgical technician certification from an accredited school or training program required.Current BLS required.Experience:

Familiarity with all surgical instruments and equipment. Working knowledge of sterile and aseptic technique. Minimum of 2+ years experience in a hospital or outpatient operating room if not from an accredited training program.Benefits
