is seeking a Director - System Applications to join our Information Technology team in

Wausau, WI !This role will create or refine offerings that align with the strategic vision and growth goals of Aspirus and will ensure the highest levels of quality, satisfaction, integrity, and commitment from the imaging IT teams. The Director – Enterprise Imaging is accountable for managing the hardware, applications, and services used to support Aspirus’ enterprise imaging strategy and will work to unify imaging IT services and technology across the health system when it is beneficial and mutually agreed upon. This position is responsible for the development of near-term tactical plans and a strategic, longer-range roadmap to increase automation, improve efficiency, service quality, and reduce the overall cost of ownership for all applications. Responsibilities include establishing measurable goals, objectives, and operating procedures for IT Enterprise Imaging and Informatics. This position develops and manages a team of managers, project managers, PACS administrators, and application analysts. A candidate that can deliver standardized operating procedures, system standardization, and partner with other inter-department leaders to ensure Enterprise Imaging IT Services are an asset to the organization – assisting with throughput issues, a partner and service-oriented. The leader will be responsible for making a significant impact in the following areas:Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA, MHA, or related degree preferred.PMP preferred but not required.Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of 10 years of healthcare IT management experience and a thorough and demonstrated understanding of enterprise imaging IT, including business ventures, billing, contracts, and grants, as well as a working knowledge of the complexities and challenges involved in the fields of Diagnostic Radiology, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Cardiologic and Interventional Procedures, as well as any other area that produces imaging as defined by the Society for Imaging Information Management (SIIM).Employee BenefitsFull benefits packages available for part- and full-time status.PTO accrual from day one!Generous retirement plan with match available.Wellness program for employees and their families.Aspirus Wausau Hospital

is the flagship of the Aspirus system that serves patients in 14 counties across northern and central Wisconsin, as well as the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It is a licensed private/not-for-profit facility with 325 beds and staffed by 350 physicians in 35 specialties.
