Up to $25,000The University of Miami/UHealth UMHC/SCCC has an opportunity for a Pediatric Chemotherapy Registered Nurse 2. The Registered Nurse will be a professional registered nurse who administers research study agents including Phase I, standard chemotherapy and biotherapy agents, and non-chemotherapy medications. He/she will administer care to pediatric oncology, hematology, bone marrow transplant and non-oncology patients as well as with multiple disease processes in the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic. In addition, the Pediatric Chemotherapy Nurse may assist in sedations and procedures in the treatment room in the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic.Minimum Requirements:

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, BSN required.Current/valid Florida nursing license, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications required.Two (2) years recent pediatric hematology-oncology nursing experience.Recent experience in administering chemotherapy and biotherapy agents.Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Administration Guidelines provider course.Association of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Administration Guidelines provider course preferred.Oncology, Pediatric Hematology-Oncology, or Pediatric Certified Nurse certification preferred.Proven track record of building relationships with physicians, direct reports, and key staff.Proven track record of ability to establish rapport and maintain relationships with pediatric patients and their families.Sedation Competencies.The University of Miami offers competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, tuition remission and more.Patient safety is a top priority.
