Position SummaryThe Manager of Cyber Security serves as the expert on cybersecurity protection, detection, response, and recovery. Will be responsible for planning, directing, and aligning technology and systems architecture projects to business goals and objectives which support the Information Security of Living Spaces and its business strategy.Position DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities

Other duties may be assigned.Lead and direct the direct and indirect staff to monitor all security for IT operations and IT infrastructure.Maintain all security tools and technology - Plan, develop, configure, support, and upgrade all new and existing applications, websites, databases, software, and related security technologies.Monitor internal and external policy compliance.Monitor regulation compliance.Work to reduce risk.Audit policies and controls continuously.Ensure cybersecurity stays on the organizational radar.Map out the security incident response program.Lead a team of security professionals and vendors/suppliers to ensure projects, performance objectives, and deliverables are met.Provide customer service and problem resolution in support of the IT Support, Operations, and IT Product teams.Responsible for the day-to-day operational running of the team, including resource management, mentoring, and ensuring the team consistently meets their objectives.Work closely with the IT management team and decision makers in other departments in order to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.Develop and successfully manage and execute business and project plans, deliverables, policies, processes, and procedures in support of business and departmental strategies, goals, objectives, and budgets.Collaboratively develop and manage departmental budgets.Acquire resources for departmental activities and projects and provide technical and budgetary management of vendors/suppliers.Solve business problems by performing analysis, preparing recommendation(s), and providing project leadership/management for successful implementation of relevant technology, business process modifications, and/or enhancements.Identify, research, and resolve technical problems for individuals and groups in an efficient manner, recognizing the proper course of action to take, communicating, and escalating severe issues as appropriate.Communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.Develop, maintain, and continually improve relationships/partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, teammates, direct reports, and vendors/suppliers.Ensure team provides exceptional customer support by developing and maintaining a culture, procedures, and processes that provide high quality customer support and maintenance for existing and future technology.Respond to help desk tickets, telephone calls, email, and personal requests for technical support in a timely manner including feedback and closure and ensure that the team does the same.Provide escalated support for direct reports and teammates and perform work as required.Perform knowledge transfers among team members by preparing and maintaining documentation for processes, procedures, written instructions, and solutions to problems.Collaborate with, and lead, team members to identify, recommend, plan, develop, and implement technology and technology standards.Maintain knowledge of developments in relevant technologies and their use in the industry, making recommendations when appropriate.Coordinate the acquisition of technology-related products, services, and vendors/suppliers.Manage the process of innovative change effectively.Ensure procedures are in place to protect all data and databases, information transfer and processing, and software licensing.Available to work after hours and weekends as required.QualificationsEducation/Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent from four-year college in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in a Sr Networking or similar role. Understands how the applications support business processes and applies this knowledge to solve defined business problems. Must be proficient in all technical aspects of their team responsibilities. Possess extensive knowledge of programming languages, databases, scripting, queries, and web technology. Strong working knowledge of all IT Infrastructure technologies including (Cisco, Microsoft, HP, Infoblox, VMWare) and other related technologies. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be highly proficient with some of the following technologies: Switches, Routers, VPN, Network Routing, Wireless LAN Controllers, Access Points, AirWatch, Cisco ISE, Cisco Prime, 4G LTE routers, Ekahau, Wireless supported end points (desktop, laptop, mobile phones, etc).Certificates and Licenses:

Cisco certifications preferred.Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position will directly manage a team of 4-8 individuals performing the roles of programming and technical architecture design. Develop and execute the company's business strategies in order to attain the goals of the board and shareholders. Provide strategic advice so direct reports will have an accurate view of the market and the company's future. Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate. Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down in the company and that they are followed at all times. Communicate and maintain trust relationships with shareholders, business partners, and authorities. Able to delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of direct reports providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance.Position Hiring RangeThe hiring pay range provides a guide for what we would reasonably pay for the position. Pay will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
