This role is for an Accounting Manager who will oversee the full accounting process for a nonprofit organization focused on the medical field. Ideal candidates should have experience in nonprofit accounting, and while medical industry experience is a plus, it’s not required. Familiarity with QuickBooks and Bill.com is highly desirable, and the position requires working in the Gaithersburg, MD office at least three days per week, with five days preferred. The base salary starts at $95,000-$105,000.

Responsibilities
This person will serve as the Accounting Manager for our nonprofit organization. The main responsibility is maintaining all accounting records to include:Processing all invoicesReceiving all paymentsProject budgetsEntering journal entriesPreparing the financial statementsHandling the internal and external auditsProcessing 990 formsThe main accounting system used is QuickBooks Online and Bill.com, so experience with these two systems is a plus. This person will be responsible for being onsite at least 3 days per week in Gaithersburg, MD. A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required with a focus in Accounting, Economics or Finance. CPA would be a plus!
