Endoscopy Technician
assists with patient care in the Endoscopy Department. They are familiar with gastrointestinal and pulmonary diseases and assist during endoscopic procedures. Responsibilities include the preparation, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment and supplies. The technician functions under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse.Job Requirements:High School Grad or EquivalentPatient care experience; may substitute similar training from military or vocational training programBasic Life Support (BLS) required within 3 months of hire.Preferred:2 years related experienceSentara Benefits:Sentara employees strive to make our communities healthier places to live.
