Your Role As Director Of Nursing
Leadership and Vision: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Med/Surg nursing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Quality Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in patient care and outcomes through evidence-based practice initiatives and performance improvement strategies.
Staff Development: Mentor and empower your team through training, education, and performance evaluations.
Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient and effective unit operations, managing staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Patient Advocacy: Champion patient-centered care and advocate for the needs of both patients and staff.
Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
BSN required; MSN preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years of clinical nursing experience.
Minimum of two (2) years of progressive management experience in a hospital setting.
Licensure/Certification:
Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
Current BCLS Certification.
