DIRECTOR OUTPATIENT SERVICES (OPD) - LMHC/LICSWCurrently offering a $8k Signing Bonus for this roleAbout the Role:Arbour Counseling Services is excited to offer a Full Time Director of Outpatient Services opportunity for Licensed (LICSW, LMHC) individuals to oversee our Outpatient Program (OPD) in Franklin, MA. This is an ideal opportunity to utilize management skills and interventions that will facilitate a high level of quality care for our clientele. Arbour offers individual therapy, group therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, medication evaluation & management, school-based treatment, and elder services within our Outpatient program.The Director of Outpatient Services is responsible for the overall quality and fiscal management of a free-standing clinic. The Director of Outpatient Services continuously assures that clinical services are in full compliance with applicable regulations and payer contract specifications. The Director of Outpatient Services promotes the development of the clinic through marketing and by cultivating relationships with other providers, local and state agencies, and managed care organizations. The Director of Outpatient Services ensures the site is profitable and, at minimum, meets budget.Essential Responsibilities:Oversees policies and procedures for the Center which ensure regulatory compliance and high quality care.Sets and monitors productivity levels of staff to ensure delivery of clinical services in a timely manner.Maintains budgeted daily census.Provides direct clinical supervision to Staff that results in a high quality of care and compliance with record keeping requirements.Recommends appropriate action or review of any staff member whose performance does not meet expectations.Ensures continual growth of the Center by coordinating marketing and staff recruitment efforts.Promotes the success of the Program through fostering and maintaining referral sources.Makes clinical decisions in the context of program goals and philosophy.Responds appropriately to client crises.Completes diagnostic evaluations and treatment plans accurately and timely.Provides competent case management as exemplified by timely follow-up and by coordinating treatments with referral sources and collaterals.Ensures the continual growth of the Program through effective selection and development of staff.Plans and executes work systematically, and with established priorities for greater efficiency as well as efficiently utilizing personnel, equipment and staff to meet cost and quality standards.Leadership Expectations:Fosters staff development and growth of teamProvides regular coaching and feedback to employees to motivate performanceCompletes performance evaluations providing thorough feedback and goals to assigned staff by established deadlinesCoordinates and provides day-to-day oversight to staff; actively involved in resolving employee matters/issuesMaintains open communication through regular rounding and one to one meetings with employeesEnsures staff comply with assigned education requirement in a timely manner (i.e., CIA Training, HIPAA training, competencies, etc.)Responsible for holding staff accountable with upholding facility policies/procedures and managing the corrective action process when neededActively participates and champions the facility's Service Excellence and Recognition ProgramsDevelops team building initiatives to engage staff and build a positive team dynamicActively participates in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding for all staff within the teamQualifications:Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related fieldCurrent State Licensure: LICSW, LMHC, Lic. PhD requiredMust be 3 years post licensureFive years of psych experience preferably in a community health setting.
