ResponsibilitiesPeraton is seeking a

Senior Software Test Automation Engineer (Integration Testing)

to join FRBNY Cloud Application Migration team. This qualified individual will support the migration of an on-premises application to the AWS cloud by developing automated test plans, and performing integration, performance, and observability testing.

What you will do:

Test Script Development and Validation:

Develop automated test scripts for the identified test cases.

Validate the accuracy of the automated test scripts and perform dry runs to ensure scripts work as intended.

Integrate automated test scripts into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure tests are triggered automatically with each build/deployment.

Test Environment Setup:

Define the requirements for the test environment and ensure it mirrors production as closely as possible.

Verify that the test environment is correctly set up and configured with all necessary resources and dependencies.

Deploy the application to the test environment, follow deployment procedures, and conduct smoke tests to ensure the application is deployed correctly and verify basic functionality and connectivity.

UAT Environment Setup:

Ensure the UAT environment is set up and configured similarly to production, verifying that all necessary resources and dependencies are in place.

Deploy the application to the UAT environment, follow deployment procedures, and conduct smoke tests to ensure the application is deployed correctly and verify basic functionality and connectivity.

UAT Planning and Execution:

Define the scope and objectives of UAT with FRBNY stakeholders.

Support FRBNY stakeholders as they execute UAT test cases and scenarios, log and track any issues or defects identified during UAT, and prioritize issues based on severity and impact.

Work with the development team to resolve identified issues and support stakeholders as they retest resolved issues to ensure they are fixed.

UAT Review and Approval:

Review the results of UAT testing with stakeholders, ensure all test cases and scenarios have been executed, and document the results of UAT testing.

Prepare a UAT summary report highlighting key findings and resolutions and obtain formal sign-off from stakeholders to ensure satisfaction with the testing outcomes.

Final Validation and Deployment Readiness:

Conduct a final validation to ensure the application is ready for production, verifying that all critical issues have been resolved and the application meets the required standards.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications:

Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Additional 4 years of relevant work experience in the IT field will be accepted in lieu of the degree.

At least 8 years of software testing experience.

Software test automation experience using test automation tools including but not limited to: Selenium, AI Based test automation tools, or other test automation tools.

Must have knowledge and experience working with and supporting the development of an overall test Plan and tailored test plans for each release.

Experience preparing comprehensive reports on testing progress/issues and remedial action.

Experience leading and assisting junior Test Engineers.

Must be a US Citizen.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with the following skills will be considered a significant plus in considering prospective candidates:

Exposure to wide automation concepts, framework & best practices from industry in automating mainframe and web applications.

Demonstrated experience in designing & implementing customized test automation frameworks as needed.

Market knowledge of various classes of test automation tools, including low code/code free automated testing tools.

Target Salary Range$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
