As a commercial and internally developed applications subject matter expert, provide advanced programming, analysis and consulting services to Walman’s divisions, departments, vendors and customers ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Analyze, configure, design, develop, test and support commercial and internally developed applications/systems. Position requires intermittent travel, less than 15% of the time.EXPERIENCE OR QUALIFICATIONS:

Four year degree and 5-years work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience accompanied with a thorough and detailed knowledge of:Commercial, multi-tier application configuration and supportMicrosoft Products (SQL Server & Tools, Microsoft 365 and Azure)Microsoft SQL Server tools, interfaces/integration and performance optimizationAdvanced systems analysis, design and development techniquesAdditional requisite knowledge includes the following:Project planning and managementWorking knowledge of commercial applications e.g., Square9, Business Objects, SharePointData integration/transport methods e.g., SFTP, REST, XML, ODBC, JSON, EDI, CSV and fixed recordGeneral infrastructure knowledge including network and virtualization conceptsOral and written communication skillsJob Responsibilities:Implement and support complex internally developed and commercial applications in a Microsoft EnvironmentDevelop an understanding of business operations and provide business process and technical expertise to users and management as a principal technical resource and Subject Matter ExpertMonitor and maintain commercial and internally developed applicationsPerform business and technical analysis to ensure thorough understanding of business, integration, enhancement and maintenance requestsDevelop, test, debug and support applications that achieve business objectivesUnderstand, develop and implement all aspects of data management and transfer using commercial applications, SFTP and internally developed methodsWrite and maintain documentation for use and support of application programs in accordance with company standardsMaintain work area in a neat, clean, and organized conditionUnderstand and follow all company and manufacturer’s policies and procedures and observe all safety rules and regulations. Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and HIPAA protected informationWillingly assist others as necessary to keep work current, meet deadlines and maintain an even workload, by cooperating with coworkers and demonstrating a good attitude. Performs an acceptable quantity and quality of work on time as requiredProvide proper training, work direction, and technical guidance for less experienced coworkers. Attend in-house or Walman sponsored training meetings when necessaryPerform other duties as assignedPhysical Demands:Stand or sit and use PC keyboard for up to four hours per day. Occasionally is required to twist, turn or bend. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
