Cape Henlopen School District, Spanish Immersion Teachers (multiple openings), Lewes, DE & Milton, DE: Plan, teach, & assess elementary K-5 math, science, & Spanish literacy; team with an English partner teacher as part of the dual immersion program;
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Education or related, & have or be eligible for a DE Teaching License; & (2) an Elementary Education (K-6) Certification OR Early Childhood Certification (Birth-Grade 2); & (3) a Certificate in World Language (K-12) OR Bilingual (K-12) in Spanish; & (4) Specialized training/Student Teaching in grades K-12; & (5) Must be able to achieve a rating of passing or higher on the ACTFL OPI; & (6) Must be able to achieve a rating of passing or higher on the ACTFL WPT OR must be able to pass PRAXIS II: Spanish Test (test code: 5195); & (7) Must be able to successfully complete & pass PRAXIS #5001 OR PRAXIS Elementary Education Content Knowledge; & (8) Must be able to pass criminal background check.
