Summary: The Sr. Pricing & Profitability Specialist will be responsible for pricing opportunities and producing profitability insights to drive the growth strategy of Onbe. This role will work directly with sales professionals and business leaders as the source of pricing and ensure margin targets are maintained. Through a combination of data review and analysis, research in the changing payments landscape, and an understanding of client needs and growth initiatives, provide pricing guidance to sales to win business in new and existing industries.

This role is a hybrid role that will work onsite 1-2 days per week at our Conshohocken, PA location. Occasional travel may be required as part of this position
Responsibilities
  • Generate pricing quotes for businesses across all product lines through the utilization of a sophisticated pricing model and interpretation of program behavior data.
  • Provide pricing mentorship on levers available to sales to achieve margin thresholds, including card life and value, consumer behavior expectations, Reg E treatment, and flexibility of product offering.
  • Assist with sales training to improve pricing performance, utilization of pricing tools, and exception approval process.
  • Run the pricing process for opportunities through communication with Sales, Legal, and Senior/Executive Management.
  • Provide reporting on product level pricing and profitability, including a record of priced opportunities, encouraged revenue and expenses, and forecasting of impact on business margins and profitability.
  • Establish cross-functional relationships with Legal, Finance, and Product Management to ensure alignment and accuracy of pricing of a compliant product solution.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required (major in Business/Finance/Economics preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience working in an analysis role in finance/accounting/data analytics, 1+ years in a pricing-specific role with prepaid card experience as a plus, OR 3+ years in Fintech Prepaid operations with a 1+ of analytics experience.
  • Experience leading and completing tasks in response to internal and external partners and deadlines.
  • Financial-proven modeling/analytical abilities.
  • Basic knowledge of P&L, gross revenue, net income, etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with high attention to detail and to excel in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to interpret, coordinate and transform data into concrete insights.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically: Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Strong Excel modeling skills; MS Access, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau a plus.
  • Experience with Dynamics or other CRM systems preferred.

The base salary range for this position is budgeted for $97,470.00 to $123,900.00 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of proven experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, business needs, and market demand.
