Paralegal

Seeking a paralegal with experience in handling personal injury cases for a small plaintiff’s personal injury firm located in Atlanta (Buckhead)

1. We currently have an immediate opening for a paralegal with experience in personal injury cases

Requirements:

• Applicants must demonstrate the ability to seamlessly transition into the role with minimal training

Responsibilities:

1. Drafting demand letters and complaints
2. Meeting with clients and responding to discovery
3. Filing pleadings with various courts
4. Obtaining medical and employment records
5. Negotiating liens and bills with medical providers
6. Assisting with trial preparation
7. Conducting legal research and analysis
8. Preparing settlement agreements and releases
9. Assisting in the preparation of trial exhibits and evidence
10. Managing case files and organizing documents for easy retrieval

Additional Information:

• Assistance with phone inquiries required, but not responsible for financial transactions
• Standard working hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, in a well-appointed office
