Action, Inc. seeks a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Annual Giving Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies in direct appeals, donor stewardship, and fundraising events, as well as managing the donor database.

The ideal candidate will be a talented fundraising professional, with the ability to establish meaningful donor relationships, using a hands-on approach to cultivate and steward donors so they are inspired to give generously and consistently. The successful candidate will support the Director of Marketing & Planning, volunteers, and the Board of Directors in their outreach to donor prospects.

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, able to see the big picture, while simultaneously assuring operational effectiveness to create success.

Hours:

Full Time, 35 hours/week. Occasional night and weekend work may be required as the role dictates.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Annual Giving Strategies:

Create and execute comprehensive annual fundraising plans primarily focused on raising the money needed to meet the organization's unrestricted revenue goals, including the identification of high potential donors and the creation of direct mail campaigns, online giving initiatives, and direct donor solicitation efforts.Donor Stewardship:

Create and implement a comprehensive stewardship plan so that donors are thanked appropriately and kept involved in the organization, including managing board involvement in the thank you process.Fundraising Events:

Plan and manage fundraising events, from concept to execution, ensuring they align with Action, Inc.'s mission and goals, including house party events organized by volunteers.Database Management:

Oversee the donor database, ensuring accurate and timely data entry, reporting, and analysis to inform fundraising strategies; provide regular reporting to the Board of Directors; and provide additional support for marketing efforts as needed.Financial Oversight:

Oversee fiscal program for online donations, ensure information is accurate, work with finance department to transfer and reconcile funds on a regular basis.Community Engagement:

Engage with the community to raise awareness of Action, Inc.'s mission and initiatives, and to identify potential new donors and partners.Collaborate with Team Members:

Work closely with the development team and other staff to align fundraising efforts with organizational objectives and to support cross-departmental initiatives.Act in the best interest of the organization:

Personal Attributes:

High energy, creativity, and a passion for Action, Inc.'s mission; ability to work both independently and as part of a team; strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in donor management software, including reporting and analysis, and Microsoft Office Suite.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.Creative, innovative self-starter.Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.Minimum of three years of experience in fundraising, with a proven track record of making the case, managing data, and building meaningful relationships.Previous experience in human services or non-profit setting preferred.Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift, move, and carry 10 lbs.
