Resiliency Operational Specialists
. This role offers the unique opportunity to lead efforts in ensuring critical IT services and systems remain operational during major outages, disasters, or emergency events. If you're passionate about managing business continuity and disaster recovery programs in a dynamic IT environment, this role is for you.
This role involves managing business continuity and disaster recovery programs, overseeing resiliency initiatives, and responding to major incidents. With a focus on operational support and incident management, this role offers a chance to impact organizational resilience in a dynamic IT environment. Ideal for candidates passionate about operational risk and disaster preparedness in IT settings.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Program Management and Planning (70%)
Manage operational resiliency initiatives, develop organizational resiliency and response plans, and oversee team-level plans.Maintain Business Impact Analysis (BIA) processes, Disaster Recovery (DR) plans, and implement best practices for operational resiliency.Coordinate with health and safety requirements and lead outreach activities.Major Incident Management (25%)
Serve as the service manager for the Incident Response Center (IRC), aligning activities with IT incident management practices.Provide leadership and support during disaster events, and ensure cross-training for staff on disaster protocols.Operational Support (5%)
Consult with external partners on business continuity best practices.Provide operational support, including event setup and participation.Qualifications
