OVERVIEW:Work with stakeholders and developers to translate requirements into functional and technical design documents, and to ensure that the applications developed are meeting those requirements by creating functional, unit and volume tests. Work with end users to define and clarify business objectives. Position includes working with 3rd party applications and in-house custom software, as well as providing non-technical suggestions for solving business process issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES:The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:o Prioritizing issues with business and development teamso Documenting and communicating business process flowso Creating functional design documentso Designing test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedureso Testing system modifications to prepare for implementationo Developing and executing manual and automated test scriptso Ensuring training is sufficient and communicating deployment information to stakeholderso Providing high quality application support
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:The skills and qualifications required for this position include:o Possess a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Data Science, Actuarial Science, English or a related field OR prior experience as a Business Analyst or related IT work experienceo Strong understanding of financial business processes and requirementso Excellent written and oral communication skillso Proficient computer skillso Highly motivated, self directed and customer service orientedo Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgencyo Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilitieso Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skillso Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environmento Work independently as well as in a team environmento Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamworko Ability to pass the required drug screen and background check.
