Local Sales Manager

to join our top-performing, experienced and collaborative team. You will be able to showcase your strategic and entrepreneurial expertise by leading a team of account executives and executing a sales strategy that delivers customized customer solutions through an integrated suite of media platforms - television, digital, OTT and integrated sponsorships.

The position requires growing shares of direct, agency and digital business, as well as creating an opportunity to develop significant new business to achieve quarterly and annual budgets. You will be responsible for continuing to grow and challenge a sales team that successfully works with all levels of the local market's business community. This opportunity will primarily focus on businesses based in the Coastal Bend but will require the ability to think on a national scale.

Most importantly, the Local Sales Manager should motivate, coach and inspire the team to achieve goals beyond their current expectations.

The position reports to the Director of Sales and will work alongside the full leadership team to maximize new business development efforts across station platforms.

Responsibilities:Inclusively recruit, retain and train a diverse team of Account ExecutiveManage key local and regional accounts with account executivesDevelop creative and effective customer focused solutions using all media platformsMaintain customer satisfaction and accountability through consultative sellingIdentify market potential through lead generation and qualificationExpand core business by introducing new products and services and developing new applicationsCoach and lead account executives by participating in client meetings and building deep relationships with decision makersSet the pace and constantly provide feedback to account executives to improve their performanceReview and adjust metrics to monitor sales performance and market shareComplete appropriate business activity reports and forecastsOther duties as assignedRequirements:

Minimum of three years of Sales Management experience in television, digital or media industry preferrable.Digital Sales experience is essential to success.Documented record of revenue budget achievement.Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills for motivating staff and maximizing revenue performance.Must have strong time management and organizational skills; candidate must be able to work in a fast paced, high-pressure, evolving environment.Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, WideOrbit Sales, WideOrbit Traffic and CRM software.

This position is also eligible for the Company's bonus plan.
