You will have the opportunity to actively participate in our global transformation, by changing tomorrow now.EDP Renewables (EDPR) seeks an experienced APAC Senior Procurement Manager to lead procurement efforts for Distributed Generation (DG) projects in the APAC region. This role will ensure effective coordination with EDPR’s Global Procurement Centers of Excellence (CoEs), integrating regional needs into global procurement strategies and overseeing regional supply chain activities.ResponsibilitiesCoordination with Global Procurement CoEs:The APAC Procurement Manager will ensure that regional needs are clearly communicated and addressed within the global procurement framework. While strategic negotiations for global equipment (such as Solar PV Panels, Inverters, Trackers, BESS), and BOS/BOP services are managed by the CoEs. The APAC Procurement Manager will:Provide the CoEs regional demand forecasts and specific requirements to align global sourcing with local needs.Communicate regional regulatory requirements and logistical challenges to CoEs.Facilitate collaboration between CoEs and regional teams to ensure seamless procurement practices and effective communication.Assist CoEs in resolving any region-specific challenges during the sourcing process.Regional Procurement & Supply Chain Management:The APAC Procurement Manager will oversee all procurement activities for DG projects across the region, including:Cross-Functional Coordination: Ensure that Business Development, Project Management, M&A, Engineering, and Legal teams are involved throughout the sourcing process in a timely, compliant manner.BOS/BOP for DG projects: Lead the Procurement activities regarding BOS/BOP for DG projects in APAC region including RFP management, suppliers analysis, awarding proposals and contracts negotiation according EDP procurement processes and in ensuring full compliance of these processes with EDPR’s policies and with regulatory and legal obligations.BOS/BOP for DG projects strategy alignment. Periodically discuss and revise with the BOS/BOP CoE and Client Solutions Platform the strategy for this category.Cost Optimization: Challenge scope specifications to identify cost-saving opportunities, analyze bids, and review supplier proposals to maximize value.Forecasting & Payments: Update procurement and payment forecasts for treasury planning, and collaborate with finance for timely payment processing.Supplier Management: Nurture and maintain strong relationships with regional suppliers, ensuring they meet performance and delivery expectations.Logistics & Transportation: Supervise logistics, ensuring efficient material shipment planning to avoid supply chain disruptions.Warehousing & Inventory: Oversee warehousing operations, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards, and monitor inventory movement to ensure timely project delivery and accurate expense tracking.Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) & Process Optimization:

Maintain up-to-date SOPs to reflect current procurement and supply chain practices.Improve the use of supply chain tools (such as APPIAN, SAP) to enhance cross-functional collaboration and data accuracy.

Support to the Head of Department (HOD):

Assist the HOD in monitoring the implementation of EDPR’s procurement processes across the APAC region.Collect and analyze supply chain data to drive continuous improvement.
